What size is a commercial skip?
Generally speaking, commercial skips are larger than residential skips. Our largest skip size is 9m3 but we also offer a 6m3 size and a 4m3 skip bin for smaller projects.

How long can I keep a commercial skip?
At Just Skips, our skip bin hire period starts at 7 days. But for long term skip hire, you can order a skip bin for 14 days or 3 months for an extra charge. You can also hire the skip bin for 3 months, have it emptied and changed over for a new bin for another 3 months (and so on).

Can you put anything in a commercial skip bin?
No, you can’t just put anything in a commercial skip bin. There are strict laws and regulations around what can and can’t be placed in skips. Disposing of certain materials and types of waste, or mixing them incorrectly, can attract additional fees or mean that your commercial rubbish is returned to you.
At Just Skips, we ask you to specify the type of waste you are disposing of when you order online. Alternatively, we offer a mixed waste option, in which you can dispose of soil, concrete, mattresses and all items that are allowed in a general waste bin.
Please note that we do not allow any of the following:
